My favorite posts I published this month:
Remember that miniature trigger warning debacle? That was this month.
Twitter is a nightmare. Anyway, I’ve really enjoyed talking with people about my Trigger Warning Myth Busting post, which I wrote through a haze of caffeine and annoyance.
I loved writing my Game of Thrones book recs. So far, I’ve recommended books for the Lannisters and the Starks. Next Sunday, I’m planning to post a list for the Targaryans, which will be difficult but this is the task I set myself.
I also loved making the Google Autocomplete book tag, which anyone should feel free to steal. 🙂
Favorite book I read this month:
It’s been a long time since I enjoyed a book the way I enjoyed reading My Lady Jane. I highly recommend going for the audiobook, which had be laughing out loud. Adorable and clever and so unique. My five-star review is here.
Reviews Posted in March
Without meaning to, I had a month of reviews that was mostly YA fiction, which has never happened before. My reading is about 50% YA fiction, but it just sort of happened this way this month. *shrug*
This month, I posted twelve full reviews, plus a series review of Sabaa Tahir’s An Ember in the Ashes series and a set of four and a half mini reviews of backlogged titles.
Like last month, I reviewed at least one book for every star rating this month. (I don’t do partial stars; you can find my rating system here.) My lowest rated title was Samira Ahmed’s Internment, and my most glowing reviews were for Courtney Summers’ Sadie and Ally Condie’s The Last Voyage of Poe Blythe, though I did have a few other five-star reviews.

Querying continues to be every bit as wretched as people promised.
While I query my Angry British Novel, I’m slowly drafting my MG Neanderthal WIP, which is bringing me a lot of joy. I’ve also been working on some short stories, which I’ve not written many of before but I’m enjoying it.
